PhD from Paris-Sorbonne University, Pierre Raffard is an academician and researcher in Geopolitics and International Relations. For more than 15 years, his research has focused on the political and geopolitical dimension of food and agriculture, as well as the current changes occurring in our foodways. He is the author of several works, the latest of which, Geopolitics of Food and Gastronomy, was released in 2021. Alongside his teaching and academic activities, he founded Kereviz, a consulting company which supports agri-food actors in their understanding of current and future food issues and their innovation strategies.
