Verena Kasirye oversees the head office of the Agora Strategy Group, a consultancy firm focused on geopolitical risk analysis for governments and internationally operating enterprises. Ms. Kasirye moreover consults projects of the European Union and Germany’s Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in Africa. Prior to her role at Agora, Ms. Kasirye served as Head of Western Europe, North America and European Policy Issues at the Hanns Seidel Foundation, where she headed the division's country offices and the European policy dialogue. In the past, she headed the public policy program and governmental relations at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s country offices in Tanzania, Uganda and South Sudan and oversaw actions with the European Union and several African ministries. Ms. Kasirye is an alumni of the Parliamentary Congress-Bundestag Program (CBYX) to the United States.
