Meghan is an accomplished communications consultant with a diverse portfolio of clients that spans politics, climate technology, and not-for-profit organizations. With a reputation as a trusted voice in the media, she frequently appears as a political analyst on major networks such as ABC, Bloomberg, CBS, CNN, FOX News, and MSNBC, providing commentary on current political events.
Prior to her consulting work, Meghan served as Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and head of Global Communications and Government Affairs at AIG, Inc., where she was instrumental in developing and implementing external affairs strategies for the CEO and other top executives at the global financial services company. In this role, she provided strategic counsel on corporate communications and public affairs, ensuring that the company maintained strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Meghan’s career in communications has been defined by her eight years of service as a senior communications leader for President Joe Biden. During this time, she played a pivotal role in shaping strategic messaging and managing crisis communications, first for then-Vice President Biden, later for the Biden for President campaign, and ultimately within the Biden-Harris White House. Her work in this capacity involved navigating some of the most complex and high-stakes communications challenges of the time, contributing to the administration’s success in advancing its policy agenda and maintaining public trust.
In addition to her political and corporate experience, Meghan led communications strategies at MGM Resorts International. Overseeing media relations, internal communications, and public affairs initiatives for the CEO and other C-suite executives.
In June 2022, Meghan was appointed by President Biden to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Governing Board. In this capacity, she plays a central role in advancing environmental planning, transportation initiatives, and sustainable development efforts in the Lake Tahoe basin.
