Eva Douzinas serves as the President of the Rauch Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to protecting natural ecosystems, promoting sustainable food systems, and supporting schools in delivering financial literacy programs.
Previously, Eva was the Co-President and CFO for Veson Nautical Corporation, a leading maritime software company based in Boston that she co-founded in 2003. Over her 20-year career in maritime innovation, Eva helped Veson Nautical achieve global recognition with offices worldwide serving hundreds of the world’s premier shipping organizations. The company earned numerous accolades, including being named one of Boston Business Journal's Best Places to Work three times during her tenure.
Since 2018, Eva has focused on advancing sustainability, education, and cultural development, particularly in Greece. She co-founded Katheti AMKE, a non-profit cultural and educational center serving the Argo-Saronic region, with the mission of strengthening local communities through education, cultural initiatives, and support for sustainable development. She has also taken a leading role in environmental advocacy, including serving on the steering committee of Aktaia Alliance, a nationwide initiative uniting over 20 Greek communities and municipalities to protect marine ecosystems from industrial fish farming. Her 2024 interview with the BBC World News on the threats posed by industrial aquaculture to Greece’s seas highlights her international standing as an advocate for environmental protection.
Eva holds a B.A. in economics and classics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business. Eva is a member of the Board of Directors of Anatolia College in Thessaloniki. She has three children and splits her time between Boston, MA, Woodstock, VT, and Poros, Greece.
