James is a Partner at CVC Capital Partners which he joined in 2014. CVC is a leading global private equity fund, managing over €200 billion in capital, with 30 offices around the globe. He is based in New York where he leads CVC’s Industrials and Services teams, and has also been actively involved and helped co-lead several CVC investments in Greece.
Prior to joining CVC, James was a Principal at Investcorp, where he focused on investments in services companies. Previously he worked at UBS, financing private equity transactions. James holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Columbia University.
Born and raised in Athens, Greece, James currently resides in his adopted home town of New York City with his wife and two daughters. He chairs the CVC US Philanthropy Committee and is actively engaged with several non-profit organizations, including Youth Inc, Reading Partners and the Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO).
