Epistimi Oikonomopoulou is an energy and infrastructure senior associate at Clifford Chance LLP, specialising in advising clients on project finance and EU energy regulatory issues. She is also core member of the firm's Clean Hydrogen Taskforce and Global CCS Group. She studied civil engineering at NTUA, holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Sydney and did an LLM in Energy Law at Queen Mary University of London.
Before joining Clifford Chance, Epistimi worked at the EBRD, the European Parliament and at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Energy (DG ENER) at Units related to the energy internal market and the development of energy infrastructure projects. Epistimi is a qualified lawyer in Australia (NSW), Ireland and admitted to the Paris Bar.
