Costis is a founding member,and the current Chairman, of the Institute of Energy for SE Europe (IENE) where he holds the post of Executive Director.
With a background in Physics and Architecture and Strategy-Innovation studies at the Said Business School,University of Oxford, he focuses on energy market analysis and energy security issues. He has published extensively on energy issues and among others is the Editor in Chief of IENE’s flagship publication, the “SEE Energy Outlook”, now in its 4th edition. He is the founder and editor of Greece’s leading energy portal, Energia.gr, while he serves as full time member of the Greek government’s standing committee on Energy and Climate (NECP)
