Suzanne Lynch is Associate Editor with POLITICO, based in Brussels, and author of Global Playbook, POLITICO’s flagship newsletter on global events. Prior to joining POLITICO, she was a foreign correspondent and financial journalist for the Irish Times. She was posted to Brussels as Europe Correspondent between 2013 and 2016, and served as Washington Correspondent between 2017 and 2021 where she covered the first Trump presidency. Suzanne is a regular contributor to international TV and radio platforms such as the BBC and CNN. She holds a PhD in English Literature from Cambridge University.
