Professor Christos Tarantilis is a distinguished executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in academia, government, and the consulting industry, specializing in optimization and artificial intelligence, innovation development, business transformation and strategic planning. As the Head of Government and Public Sector (GPS) at EY Greece, he plays a crucial role in driving innovative solutions and navigating funding opportunities within the GPS sector. Alongside his executive role, he serves as a Management Science and Technology Professor at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), where he has received over thirty teaching awards for his exceptional instruction across various academic levels. Recognized as one of the world's top 2% most influential scientists in operations research from 2020 to 2024, Prof. Tarantilis has also served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament, contributing to committees focused on research, technology and innovation.
