Vassileios L. Velkos holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in HR Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is also a Systemic Researcher using Programming from the University of Piraeus.
As the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Code.Hub, Vassileios has played a pivotal role in shaping Greece’s premier tech community and ecosystem. Under his leadership, Code.Hub has become a major hub for tech innovation, training, and recruitment, collaborating with over 75% of the leading tech companies in Greece. He also founded the first Developer Hub and Academy in Greece, providing vital training and resources for developers and programmers.
With over 20 years of experience in recruitment, and 10 years specializing in IT, Vassileios has managed more than 27,000 IT candidates and established successful recruitment strategies for multinational corporations across Europe. His efforts to bridge the gap between Silicon Valley startups and the Greek market have led to numerous recruitment success stories for prominent brands.
In his role as Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Vassileios continues to steer Code.Hub’s mission of empowering tech professionals through high-quality services, community engagement, and training opportunities, further solidifying Code.Hub’s position as a leader in the tech industry.
