Aristotelis Chantavas is the CEO of Principia (a company established in March 2024 by its shareholders, Enel and funds managed by Macquarie Asset Management, continuing the operations it commenced in Greece in 2008 as part of Enel Green Power). In April 2023 he was also re-elected as President of SolarPower Europe. He has a diverse background in the management of different types of renewables projects, varying in both size and type. His broad professional career in renewable energy, both in Europe and North America, includes executive roles in business development, construction and maintenance, M&A and new investments. Aristotelis graduated in Civil Engineering from DUTH and holds an MSc in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick, with further specialization in Entrepreneurial Studies at Harvard University.
