Spyros Venetsianos joined Eurobank, from Bank of America, in 2004 to create the Project Finance team and remained the head of the department until late 2013. He is currently General Manager, the Head of the Structured Finance Unit, within the Corporate & Investment Banking division which entails the Hotels & Leisure Finance, Project Finance, Commercial Real Estate Finance, M&A Finance as well as NPL Portfolio Financing Solutions. He is part of credit committees and handles a portfolio of more than €6bio in performing exposures as well as few remaining NPLs. His teams act in all countries in which the Eurobank Group has a presence (i.e. Bulgaria and Cyprus) and recently in other European countries, while main focus is Greece. Spyros holds a Diploma of Mechanical Engineering from NTUA and an MBA from Imperial College, UoL.
