Anastasia Riga is an Athens based Lawyer and the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Renewable Energy Sources Operator and Guarantees of Origin (DAPEEP). She is actively involved in Energy Law matters, with a particular emphasis on the legal and regulatory framework regarding Renewable Energy Sources (RES). She has assisted the Legal Department of DAPEEP in settling numerous legal disputes and has participated in working groups developing the current legal framework for RES in Greece. Meanwhile, she is a Managing Partner in “MRLaw” Law Firm. She is a graduate of the Law School of Democritus University of Thrace, holding an LLM in Civil Law from the Law School of the National kai Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as an LLM in Criminal Law & Criminal Sciences from the Law School of the above mentioned University. She is also Certified Energy Regulatory Officer (ISO/IEC 17024).
