Vasiliki Georgiadou is a professor in the Department of Political Science and History at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She is also the Director and President of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Social Research (EKKE) in Greece. She holds a Ph.D. from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Westphalian-Wilhelms University of Münster. Her current research interests focus on far-right parties and movements, populism, radicalism, political violence, and violent extremism. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, led and participated in numerous research projects focusing on political and electoral behavior, political violence, extremism, social and political trust. Beyond academia, she has contributed to policymaking and human rights advocacy, serving in various national committees against Racism and Intolerance (2016-19), and for the Prevention and Treatment of Violence and Juvenile Delinquency (2024–2025).
