Katerina Lambrinou

Katerina Eirini Lambrinou is a senior civil servant at the Hellenic Parliament with a diverse 25-year experience of the Greek and European political sphere. In parallel to her ongoing work as special advisor on international public affairs, strategic planning and global initiatives to former Prime Minister George A. Papandreou, she is currently partnerships lead in the Greek hub of Teach the Future, a global non-profit movement striving to promote futures literacy in the education sphere and beyond through cross-sector partnerships and initiatives. Since 2024, Katerina actively participates in the SOIF Futures Pioneers network, a cohort of early adopters, officials and politicians leading domestic foresight innovation and promoting the future generations agenda in their countries and communities. In the past, she has contributed to the development of strategic partnerships for UN SDSN Greece, the country desk of the global UN Sustainable Development Solutions Networks. Between 2014 and 2022, she curated the Young Leaders Project, an international leadership development retreat which taps into the Adaptive Leadership framework to empower emerging leaders across sectors with a strong commitment to social progress, democracy and peace. From 2000-2014, she coordinated the annual Symi Symposium – an international gathering of global thinkers following the tradition of Ancient Greek philosophers, bringing together like-minded individuals from different backgrounds, leading intellectuals, politicians, Nobel laureates, entrepreneurs, diplomats, scientists, and activists to deliberate on some of the most pressing challenges of our times. Katerina has a degree in Political Science and Public Administration and a MSc in Communication & Media from the University of Athens, as well as a MSc in International NGO Management from Cass Business School, City University London. She has also completed an Executive Certificate on Strategic Foresight by EDHEC Business School (2022) as well as the Leadership, Organizing and Action: Leading Change Executive Program of Harvard JFK School of Government (2021).
