Ioanna Lytrivi is former Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and a Member of Hellenic Parliament as State Deputy. She is a Political Scientist with a PhD in Education, Training and Employment Policies. She is a graduate of the University of Athens, School of Philosophy, in Linguistics, and she holds a Master’ s degree in educational policy. She is a member of the Standing Parliamentary Committees on Cultural and Educational Affairs and on Social Affairs. She is also a Member of the Special Permanent Parliamentary Committee on Equality, Youth and Human Rights.
She is affiliated teaching staff in the School of Economics, Business and Computer Science at Neapolis University, Cyprus.
She was a member of the Governing Board of the European Training Foundation (ETF) and the Managing Director of the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (E.O.P.P.E.P.) (2019- 2023). Prior to that, she served as a Special Advisor in the Hellenic Parliament and the Ministries of Administrative Reform and Governance (2011-2019). Before this period, she served as a scientific coordinator in public lifelong learning institutions (2009-2011).
