Kostas Papagiannis joined Novartis Hellas as Country President & Managing Director in November 2022 while in December 2023 he took under his responsibility Cyprus & Malta. Furthermore, since Αpril 2024 he is an elected member of the New Board of Directors of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE) holding the position of Secretary General and responsible for Data Monitoring issues. Holder of a Marketing degree from Middlesex University in London, he started his career in the consumer products sector at General Mills, Kellogg's in Greece and SC Johnson in Switzerland. He continued his career in the pharmaceutical industry, initially at MSD with positions of increased responsibility in various countries with the most recent role of being CEO in Romania.
His participation in various trade conferences & fora, highlighted his commitment to the development of the Greek health system through innovative ideas and strategic partnerships. Passionate about shaping a better healthcare ecosystem, he is particularly interested in using health data and technologies that contribute to effective and holistic patient access to treatments.
Kostas Papagiannis believes in the power of collaborating with the healthcare community to achieve equal access to treatments for Greek patients, when they need them. Through initiatives such as the Corporate Social Responsibility program "No One Alone", he aims to leave a positive impact in society.
