Pavlos Kontomichalos is a global businessman, entrepreneur and investor with over 30 years of leadership experiences in USA, Canada, China/Hong Kong and Greece. He has founded or invested in more than 20 pioneering businesses. Pavlos was born and grew-up in Athens, Greece. He attended Moraitis School and studied Economics and Business Administration at the American College of Greece. He moved to the USA in 1983, and received an MBA from Columbia University. Pavlos joined Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) in New York in 1985, and held various key consumer marketing and business development positions including Marketing Director USA and Canada. In 1994, Pavlos moved to China and started BMS’s legendary Consumer/OTC business as General Manager – the youngest GM within BMS globally. Mr. Kontomichalos was promoted to President of Bristol-Myers Squibb China in 1997. He spearheaded a company turnaround achieving the #2 position in China with revenues over RMB 1 Billion and high profitability. In 2001, Pavlos decided to become an Entrepreneur. He left BMS and Co-Founded Profex Inc., a unique skincare-focused company in China. As Chairman & CEO, he built Profex into a leading skincare company. Mr. Kontomichalos is also the Co-Founder & Chairman of Genesis Labs, SanteCare. In 2015, Pavlos Founded Hellas Group with his wife Sophia. He recently launched The B E S T of GREECE (Beauty, Eat, Spirit, Travel) - a visionary initiative which proudly shares with the world the unique treasures of Greece, to empower a Healthier and Happier Life.
