Milena Georgieva is a Professor of Molecular Biology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer at EPIX.AI, a pioneering company leveraging epigenetics and AI to transform personalized longevity. She is also Co-Founder and Executive Board Member of the Bulgarian Longevity Society, advocating for longer healthspan and the integration of cutting-edge science into longevity strategies. Additionally, Milena is Co-Founder and Head of the Science Unit at the STEAM & Space Cluster at the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria, where she fosters innovation at the intersection of science, technology, and space exploration. She also serves as a Senior Academic Lecturer at the Geneva College of Longevity Science, contributing to the education and training of future leaders in longevity research and innovation.
With expertise in molecular biology, genetics, epigenetics, and longevity, Milena has co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and has led multiple research projects, driving forward advancements in biomedical sciences. As a member of esteemed scientific societies, including the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the European Federation of Biochemical Societies, and the International Union of Clinical Epigenetics, Milena remains dedicated to advancing longevity science and its real-world applications.
Beyond academia, Milena serves as an External Scientific Advisor for the LifeSaver project under the EU’s Horizon 2020 program. She is also a Health Expert at AcrossLimits, a Malta-based company specializing in technology, innovation, and commercialization.
