Evgenia Fotoniata is Coordinator of the Economic and Social Analysis Unit at the Institute for Alternative Policies “ENA”.
She graduated from the Department of Chemical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and holds a PhD in Economic Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She received an MSc in Physical Chemistry and Science of Materials at the National Technical University of Athens, an MA in International Economics and Finance at the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MA in Cultural Management and Policy at Panteion University.
For many years she worked for the private and public sector in the field of strategic planning and implementation of development projects and public investments. From March 2015 to June 2019 she served as Special Secretary of NSRF at the Ministry of Economy and Development in charge of the management and implementation of Sectoral Programmes “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development 2014-2020”, “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship, Innovation 2014-2020” and the Cross-Border Interreg Programmes.
