Péter is the Director of Public Affairs Hungary & EU at Novartis, where he joined in March 2023. He brings over 25 years of high-impact experience in government and business. Péter has served in diverse leadership positions, including as Head of Public Affairs at Vodafone Hungary and Senior International Public Affairs Advisor at MOL Group, a major Central Eastern European oil and gas company. His career began as a diplomat in the Hungarian Foreign Service, where he held significant roles such Director General for Asia and Deputy State Secretary for Global Affairs, working extensively on EU-related matters. An expert in regulated industries including energy, telecommunications, and pharmaceuticals, Péter excels in strategic stakeholder management, government relations, and driving impactful results. Péter holds an undergraduate degree from Budapest Business School, a Master's in Oriental and Japanese Studies, and a PhD in Modern and Contemporary World History from Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest. He has furthered his education at the Kansai International Institute of the Japan Foundation in Osaka, and SEED Business School in Budapest.
