George Karameros is a journalist, politician and communication specialist. Member of the Greek parliament SYRIZA party at Eastern Attica region and spokesman to the party He studied Journalism and business administration, while very soon he came in contact with the political Ecology movements. He holds an MBA of business administration from the University of Sunderland and has been a member of the Association of Editors of Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA) since 2002. He has been working for tv stations for 30 years and has given daily input as a political commentator. He served as Deputy Regional Head of the Northern Sector of Athens in the period 2014 - 2019. He also collaborated with the Cultural Organization of the Municipality of the Tribe "Parnitha" but also the Directorate of Environment for ecological issues. He has taught journalism at the ANT1 media lab and continues at Homer schools. He is married to the conservator of antiquities and works of art Tania Ghiosi who is also involved in marketing and communication. They have two children together, Panos and Efi.
