• He has been managing Cultural Organizations for more than 30 years, both in the public and private sectors. Currently heading as General Manager the Qualco Foundation, a cultural and humanitarian Foundation, based in Greece, founded in 2022. (www.qualcofoundation.com). He was leading before and for 15 years the B&M Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music, a public benefit Institution created in 2007 by Presidential Decree. He served as Vice-President of the Greek National Opera.
• He was elected Deputy Mayor of Athens, capital of Greece (1994-2002), heading Culture and International relations. He was the executive Secretary of the Union of Capital Cities of SE Europe.
Creator of new institutions such as Cultural Centers (Athens Technopolis), Museums (Maria Calls Museum Athens), Festivals (Athens European Jazz Festival) or awards (Apollo Opera Awards).
• Currently teaching as Professor of Arts Management at the International Hellenic University.
• Fluent in Greek (native), English, French and Italian. Knowledge of German and Spanish.
