Theodoros Giatrakos is a Managing Director with Citi, Investment Banking. Based in London, Theodoros is focused on the pan-European coverage of Financial Sponsors.
Theodoros joined Citi in 2011. Initially focused on Greece & Cyprus Investment Banking, Theodoros was promoted in 2017 to Head of Central and South East Europe Investment Banking, spanning 22 countries across Europe and recognised by Euromoney as Best Investment Bank / Advisory Bank in the region for 4 out of the 5 years through to 2021. In 2021, Theodoros was promoted to Head of EMEA Alternative Assets Group, responsible for Citi’s coverage of financial sponsors in EMEA. Theodoros started his career in 2004 with Deutsche Bank in London.
In 2016, Theodoros was recognized by Financial News as a winner of the "40 under 40 Investment Banking Rising Stars".
Theodoros holds a BSc (Honors) in Economics from LSE and an MSc in Finance (Distinction) from Imperial Business School.
