Oksana Antonenko is a part time Professor at the European University institute in Florence where she teaches and conducts research on geo-economics and strategy. Ms Antonenko also a practicing geopolitical risk adviser and continues to support businesses around the world on geopolitical and emerging risk analysis and forecasting, scenario analysis and crisis-management strategies. In 2018-2022 Ms. Antonenko was a Director for global geopolitical risk analysis at Control Risks, one of the leading global risk consultancies. Ms. Antonenko spent over 25 years analysing European and Eurasian politics and at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (where she was a senior political counsellor), London School of Economics, and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She published extensively on the European security topics including Russia’s relations with the EU and NATO, arms control issues, protracted conflicts in Eurasia and energy security.
