Costas Mitropoulos is a management consultant with extensive experience in the financial sector, energy and industry. He is a member of the Board of Directors of HELLENIQ ENERGY, MOTODYNAMICS S.A., PLAISIO S.A., ELTRAK S.A., Cyprus Development Bank Ltd and IOBE.
He has served as Chairman of the Board of ATTICA BANK, Executive Director of PwC in Greece, and CEO of PQH S.A. He was the first CEO of TAIPED, Executive President of Eurobank Equities S.A. and founder and Executive President of KANTOR Management Consultants S.A. He started his career as a management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand in Britain.
He served as a member of the Boards of the Hellenic Bank Association, HELEX, and a number of companies in Greece and abroad. For many years he was a member of the Global Advisory Council of London Business School.
Costas Mitropoulos is a mechanical and electrical engineer from the NTUA, with an MSc from Imperial College and a PhD from the London Business School. He has published articles in scientific journals on energy and strategy and in professional journals and newspapers. He is the author of the book "Privatizations in Greece: the end of a road?".
