Yannis Papadopoulos is a Greek journalist with a long career and extensive experience across the media industry. He has served as an executive director, editor in chief, news anchor, political editor, and reporter in television channels, radio stations and the print media since the ‘80s. From 1996 until 2021, he was also a senior advisor to the President of the Hellenic Republic. He is a graduate of LSE (BSc in Politics and International Relations) and SOAS University of London (MSc in International Business Administration), currently pursuing a doctorate in Media and Communication at Leicester University.
He speaks English and Dutch and is an active member of the European Association of Communication Directors as well as the Union of Greek Journalists.
