Ioannis Panagos is publisher and general manager of the Agrenda newspaper.
He is a journalist specialized in economic reporting and rural economics. He has been responsible for labor, agricultural and financial reports in the KATHIMERINI newspaper and financial reports in the newspapers Xrimatistirio, Isotimia and Eleftheros Typos. He has also served as the Head of the Press Office of the Ministry of Agriculture (2001-2004) and as Press Counselor of the Agricultural Bank.
After a 20-year professional course in newspapers, radio and television, he set up Green Box in 2003: an innovative news network for the markets and the rural economy.
With main pillars the weekly newspaper Agrenda (countrywide circulation) and the Agronews site, Green Box has a full range of specialized magazines, covering all areas of primary agricultural production and economy.
He was born in 1963 in Nessonas, Larissa. He is married with two sons.
