Ioanna Tzika was born in Larissa in 1977. She graduated from the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Panteion University and holds two postgraduate degrees ("Rural Development - Reconstruction of Rural Areas" from the Agricultural University of Athens and "EU & Developing Countries" from Panteion University).
She has served as a special advisor to the Deputy Ministers of Agriculture, Development and Competitiveness, the Secretary-General for Public Investments and NSRF and has been worked at the Special Service for the Implementation of the Rural Development Program (RDP), the National Rural Network of the RDP and the Special Service for Strategic Planning and Evaluation (EYSSA) of the Ministry of Development and Investments.
Since February 2023, she has been the Head of the National Focal Point for the EEA Grants in Greece.
She speaks English, French, German, and Spanish.
