George Milonas attainted first degree in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his MSc in Operational Research in the London School of Economics.
From 1982 - 1986 he served as the C.E.O. of Aluminium Industry of Northern Greece and from 1988 until today is the President & C.E.O. of ALUMIL S.A., Head of ALUMIL GROUP, a multinational group, producing aluminium profiles and aluminium building systems, with sales in 63 countries and 32 subsidiaries.
He speakers Greek, English, German and Italian.
His professional activities and memberships include:
• President of the Board of the Federation of Industries of Greece – F.I.N.G (2005-2009). Currently Honorary President
• Member of the Board of SEV (Association of Greek Businesses and Industries) (2000-2008)
• Ex-Vice President of the Board of SEVE (Greek Exporters Association)
• Member of the Board of CENTRAL BANK OF GREECE (2008-2017)
• Member of the Board of the Aluminium Association of Greece (1986-today)
• Member of the Board of Building Systems of the European Aluminium Association
• Member of the Board of Trustees of the American Farm School of Thessaloniki
• Member of the Board of ALEXANDRIA INNOVATION ZONE OF THESSALONIKI (2006-today)
• Vice President of ThessINTEC (2020-today)
