Born in Thessaloniki, Vasiliki Adamidou studied English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and went on to complete a Master’s degree in International Marketing Management at Queen Mary University of London. She is an internationally certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner by the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) and the Chartered Management Institute. She has proudly represented Greece at the United Nations on issues related to Human and Business Rights, as well as Women Empowerment.
Fifteen years ago, she joined Lidl—a defining moment in both her professional and personal journey. Today, she leads the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Division for Greece and Cyprus, working alongside an exceptional team. Lidl stands out for its strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility, as well as its innovative approach to sustainable development—key values that continue to inspire and drive her work.
