Dr. Panagiotis Prontzas is Partner & Head of the Strategy and Investments department with multiple years of professional experience in matters of evaluation of investment and strategic decisions in large private, public and international organizations.
His specialization concerns strategic planning projects, financial and economic analysis of investments, projects and reforming actions. During his career, Panagiotis Prontzas has participated in the design, implementation and evaluation of co-financed concession projects, in the management of state aid regulations, in the financing of investments by domestic and international mechanisms as well as in the implementation of economic policy measures.
He has been a researcher at the University of Athens and the Academy of Athens, financial advisor and analyst on decision evaluation and regulation issues in large domestic (PPC, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, AEDAK Insurance Organizations) and international organizations (OECD, European Commission).
His areas of expertise include the energy market, business parks, real estate market and the financial sector.
He has studied economics, holds an MSc in Finance, an MSc in Economic Development and a PhD in Applied Economics and Econometrics. He was a scholarship holder of the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). He has published a number of scientific articles in international journals and has been a visiting professor at Universities and Colleges in Greece and abroad.
