Yannis is a Senior Director of the PwC Strategy Consulting Team in Greece
He is actively managing among others various projects in the field of corporate energy strategies, business plans for new green energy technologies and applications, RES/BESS PPAs assessment of energy investments and due diligence, as well as activities related to energy markets, policy and regulatory support.
He had as senior energy expert, continuous participation in National and European technical and regulatory committees in the field of Renewables Sources, Energy Efficiency and Energy Planning for more than 15yrs and has been recently among others member in committees related to hydrogen strategy, storage framework, decarbonization of islands, RES support scheme. He has also been key author of the NECP (2018-2020) and of various national energy plans and studies, while he has also been engaged in the elaboration of various legislative acts and market related guidelines.
He has also been BoD member of the Hellenic Energy Exchange for 3yrs until joining PwC and has a 20yr past professional experience in GIZ GmbH, CRES and DG-JRC Institute of Energy.
He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering
