Dr Ioannis Savvas is currently Secretary General of the Decentralized Administration of Macedonia and Thrace. He has been Head of this Organization for the past eight years.
He holds:
PhD in Digital Governance/ Transformational Governance. AUA.
Thesis Title: "Transformative Governance: Ontological Approach to Public Administration and Algorithmic Analysis of its Dysfunctions"
MSc in "Informatics and Administration", Department of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
BSc in Chemistry. Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
He is:
Graduate of the Greek National School of Public Administration. Department of Local Government and Regional Development.
Scholar of the Greek Scholarship Foundation in "Intelligent Systems-Language Technology".
He has published more than twenty Articles, Studies and Proposals in Scientific Journals, Book Volumes and Collective Works.
He is fluent in English.
