Evangelos leads EY Brand, Marketing and Communications for Greece. In this role, he focuses on building and strengthening the EY brand in the Greek market. This portfolio includes the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program in Greece, family businesses, entrepreneurship, Women. Fast forward and thought leadership. He leads a team of 17 people.
Having joined EY in 2005, he led Business Development for Greece and (until the creation of the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa Area) Southeast Europe, before moving to Brand, Marketing and Communications in 2014, in order to lead the transformation of this function.
Evangelos has a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent, a master’s degree on European Studies from the University of Reading and a Ph.D. in Diplomacy from Lancaster University. Before university, he went to French schools in several countries, because of his father’s diplomatic career.
Working closely with the leadership of EY in Greece, Evangelos has been coordinating the creation of several surveys and studies that aimed to act as a catalyst in raising awareness on how to re-imagine Greek entrepreneurship and the economy, in the light of the dramatic financial crisis that hit the country in 2008.
